Innoldic was created 11 years ago ! At the beginning I did not think lasting so much. Before that I had made puzzles for ten years. When I began to do puzzles in 2005, I thought that I should have a presence on the Internet. Then 10 years later, in 2016, I created Innoludic. It was a good idea to promote my Amazon puzzle books. But probably my first reason was to let my puzzles be known by more people.
My philosophy for creating and running Innoludic was to never bother my visitor. Then I did not ask for your membership, no payment, not collection of personal data (except when you contact me, only your email address is needed), and no ads (except for promoting my own books). I wanted my puzzles to be available for all. Looking back, maintaining a bilingual website with a weekly post required a lot of perseverance and a little bit of madness. Recently I have decided to add new features, like online games (the Takazu) and soon the Suguru. Also I have created a Pinterest account, and I have added a few pictures of my puzzles, I expect to reach more people and also to present things that do not fit my website like strange geometrical figures. Pinterest has already a lot of my puzzles pinned by my visitors.
In order to have a better picture of my website. I have decided to gather information about the 11 years of Innoludic. So, I have published 1509 articles for an average of 137 by years (this include French and English articles). But the most surprising stat is that my puzzles, which are in 3132 files, including the solutions) have been downloaded 1 178 211 times (for an average of 107 000 by year). I conclude that you likes my puzzles and I am very happy with that. These are my four most popular puzzles.

To give my website a boost, I decided to add an online application for playing yakazus. This is my first foray into this field, and I wanted to make this online game simple and focused on the essentials. My motivation is to give people a taste of the game without having to print it out. I have made grids of different levels available in four distinct sizes, for a total of nearly 250 grids.
The grids are optimized for play on a computer or tablet (but I am working on further improving the game for this platform). My game is not suitable for phones due to the screen size and lack of ergonomics.
I chose Yakazu because there are few places where you can play it online. I hope you enjoy it, and depending on the success of this game, I may add new grids. I am considering adding other games, such as Suguru. If you have any suggestions, I welcome your comments.

Welcome to the new version of my website. I have finally managed to m igrate to the latest version of my content management system. It had been almost a year that my old version was not supported and I was receiving messages urging me to change. So I have the version 4.3 of Joomla and they are already announcing version 5 for a near future. This new version is faster and more reliable...we will see. I believe that the general presentation of my website is better. Updating my site gave me the opportunity to clean things up and correct a few things.
For example, I'm adopting a more standardized presentation for my articles. For example, when a help file (rules) exists, there will automatically be a reference. The books section will be updated more easily. In addition, for each book I'll give 5 Amazon links. I've also updated the "about" section with more recent photos. All links should work. There are still things to complete, but I'll be able to do that as I go along. If you find any bugs, don't hesitate to let me know.

I have reactivated the contact page. I have added a control (Captcha) which I hope will dissuade spammers. I'm also in the process of migrating my Joomla content management system. After several glitches and a lot of discouragement, I am almost there (there may well be other pitfalls). The new site should be ready soon. According to Joomla, everything should be "better". What I can tell you right now is that the site's layout will be more streamlined.
