Decagon Sudoku
The most important aspect of the decagon Sudoku is that the grid has 10 sides (a decagon) . This puzzle has 20 lines and 5 regions, and accepts numbers from 1 to 8. The regions could have regular shapes (like the one in the previous figure) or have irregular shapes. Because the grid is not rectangular the cells have a diamond shape (of different sizes) so the lines are not straight. The way to identify a line is by taking a cell at the edge of the grid and to follow a path by finding the next cell that touch the opposite side of the cell. You repeat this process until you reach the other edge, you should have found eight cells.
In the following figure I illustrate this process for a line starting the arrow and finishing at the other arrow. Notice that each cell touch opposite side of the precedent cell.
With the same starting cell but on the other side of the cell touching the grid's edge we have another line. This means that for each of the 10 cells of the edge of the grid they have two lines.
That's it, have fun!
