As a puzzle creator, I love Jigsaw Sudoku puzzle because the regions are of irregular shapes. In a classic Sudoku the regions are a 3x3 box and for another size, the regions are rectangular box (except for the 16x16 grid) so each puzzle has the same configuration.  For a Jigsaw Sudoku, the irregular shaped regions allow more freedom for creating puzzles that are different and it is easier to create different grid size.  So to prove my point I show you three grid sizes : 6x6,9x9 and 12x12. 

1)  6x6 size, use numbers 1 to 6.

2)  9x9 size, use numbers 1 to 9.

3) 12x12 size, use numbers 1 to 12.
