Before ending the year, I would like to offer a Giant Suguru puzzle to the many Suguru fans out there. It is giant because the grid is larger than 15x15, in this case 18x18. Innoludic is the only site to offer Suguru of this size, which respects the conventions of having regions with a maximum size of 5 cells. The competition uses regions of 6, 7, 8 or 9 cells. This is because at a certain point, when they are building their grids, after placing their regions from 1 to 5, they are unable to place others of these sizes. So they add a region of 6, because the 6 at that moment has no other square containing 6s to constrain it. And so it goes until it is blocked again and they add even bigger regions. By the way, all these grids are made by the same software, despite the different names of the grid authors. I manage to make these giant grids within the maximum region size of 5 squares. This makes my grids unique and appreciated by Suguru fans. Anyway, enough chatter, here is the puzzle:
